PopChange Film Club is Counterpoints‘ new monthly programme featuring filmmakers from migrant and refugee backgrounds for the screening of Alain Kassanda‘s award winning feature documentary Coconut Head Generation.
This observational documentary captures the words and emotions of students at the University of Ibadan in southwestern Nigeria, presenting spirited debates over power imbalances and heated discussions around ethnicity, feminism, and gender.
This screening is followed by a Q&A with the director.
