Tasneem Tawil is the Women’s Football Officer for Football Welcomes at Amnesty International UK / FA. She works with football clubs and county FAs across the country to support them in developing football programmes for women and girls from a refugee background. Her priority is to help create welcoming communities, ensuring that women and girls have equal opportunity to access and develop within football and breaking down barriers and stereotypes.
Tasneem’s professional background is in refugee resettlement and community integration, as well as diversity and inclusion within sports. She is very passionate about engaging women and girls from all ages and backgrounds into a variety of sports, but particularly Football and Taekwondo.
