Sondos Mandy

I am an Egyptian contemporary artist based in London. And a recent graduate of a BA Sculpture from Camberwell College of Arts. My work explores the visual and cultural debris of neglect of the Egyptian state. The aesthetics of pixelated images of violence that are circulated on the internet and tv, in Egypt. This is explored through sculpture, installation and digital painting. I am a member of BLKBRD Collective, a network of artist from diverse disciplines- our work explores themes of migration and displacement.
