Marcia Chandra is a Creative Producer at Counterpoints Arts working on the PopChange initiative and Neighbourhoods programming. She has developed a range of projects across participatory arts, collaborative research and visual storytelling — focusing largely on issues of migration, sustainability and justice. She is also a photographer and ethnographic film-maker.
Marcia is passionate about creative and participatory methods of working with research for social and environmental justice. She has worked throughout Europe, Latin America and Africa collaborating with a variety of organisations such as the London School of Economics, International Organisation for Migration, ActionAid and Ipsos Mori. She has exhibited and curated work including at Tate Exchange and b-side Arts Festival. Previously, she was Research Officer in urban poverty and environment at the International Development Research Centre (Canada), and Coordinator at the University of the Arts London of a global photojournalism network. She holds an MA in Documentary Photography from the London College of Communication.
