Marcia Chandra is a Creative Producer at Counterpoints Arts working on the PopChange initiative and Neighbourhoods programming. She is an experienced producer working across a range of projects including participatory arts, community research and online storytelling. She has worked as a documentary photographer and ethnographic film-maker for over ten years focusing largely on issues of migration, sustainability and justice.
Marcia is passionate about creative and participatory methods of working with research for social and environmental justice. She has worked throughout Europe, Latin America and Africa collaborating with a variety of organisations such as the London School of Economics, International Organisation for Migration, ActionAid and Ipsos Mori. She has exhibited and curated work including at Tate Exchange and b-side Arts Festival. Previously, she was Research Officer in urban poverty and environment at the International Development Research Centre (Canada), and Coordinator at the University of the Arts London of a global photojournalism network. She holds an MA in Documentary Photography from the London College of Communication.
