    Kooj Chuhan is a digital artist, filmmaker and creative producer. He artistically interweaves racial and migrant justice with climate resistance using a range of approaches including interactive media, theatrical VJ work and augmented reality combined with a critical cultural democracy practice.

    Kooj is a founding member of artist collective Virtual Migrants and has won an award for digital arts connecting refugees with climate change. He curated the exhibition ‘Footprint Modulation’ on climate migration across five venues in Durham. Other works he has done for over the last 30 years includes previously working as a musician. Kooj isurrently director of Crossing Footprints CIC which connects creativity with issues of human rights, environment, inequality and wellbeing.
