Henna is an anti-racist campaigner, organiser, and spokesperson. As part of #CharitySoWhite campaign, she has highlighted the racial injustices within the charity sector – from the way PoC/BAME people are treated as employees, to how funds are distributed, and how PoC/BAME people are represented. She also has a background in party politics, and is co-chair of the Labour BAME Network, as well as an interest in international development, as trustee of a charity fundraising for street-connected children around the world. She has been a contributor on broadcast and print media, for outlets such as LBC and the Independent.
