Emily Hoare

As Creative Director for the Dartington Trust, I manage the curation, production and delivery of a year round programme of events that includes Festivals, Gigs, Family shows, a Gallery, an independent Cinema, Artists Residencies and a long established Music Summer School and Festival. Our arts programme speaks to learning and social justice themes as well as providing inspiration and entertainment for our audiences, and support to artists we work with. As a small team we often work in partnership enabling us to bring exceptional work to Dartington, and to address themes and issues where others can bring their expertise to the project, as we have done with Counterpoints Arts for this symposium.
