Carlijn Metselaar
Carlijn is a composer, music teacher and choral conductor. She was Composer-in- Residence with WNO Youth Opera and wrote ‘Blackout’, about a young offender which was performed in the Wales Millenium Centre. She participated in the LPO Young Composers Scheme 2018-19, mentored by James MacMillan. Carlijn is doing a PhD in Composition at Cardiff University on creative collaboration as a composer.
